Plumbing
System with Header Tank
A typical domestic application on a vented system. One unit
is installed on the rising main to protect appliances under
mains pressure and a second unit is sited on the CWDS to
the calorifier. The back signal from this unit is normally
adequate to serve the CWDS for the vented cold supply.

Close
Coupled Vented Systems with Stored Water
Each dwelling has a close coupled vented
tank and water heater. A WK can be fitted close to the vented
tank and an aerial grounded to the water heater. The back
signal will treat the other cold services. Alternatively the unit can be fitted to the hot outlet.

Mains
Fed Unvented Gas Water Heaters
Rather than treating each residence with a dedicated unit,
it can be as effective and less expensive to treat the common
cold mains at the point of entry to the building with a
single larger unit. Electric water heaters should be treated with dedicated units.
