An Amalgam Lamp UV System suitable to treat the maximum (peak) flow-rate of water shall be installed on the water supply from the Storage tank / on the recirculating water loop. The UV chamber construction should be of 316L stainless steel and shall incorporate a UV Sensor responding only to germicidal wavelengths 250- 260nm. The "L" shaped UV Chamber should be suitable for horizontal or vertical installation. A separate UV Control panel providing indication of lamp status, UV Output and Lamp Hours run shall be provided. UV Dose provided should exceed 30mWs/cm2 at the end of lamp life.
